Sergio PiccoliClose Up Art is a cycle of events of Contemporary Art in the main hall of the
Liassidi Palace in Venice, running from August 2010 to the end of 2011.
The art operates as a vehicle and instrument of social regeneration by acting on the processes of growth and enhancement of cultural resources and
Liassidi Palace becomes the ideal place to host articulated exhibitions of artworks that will see international artists as protagonist.
The project's objective is to create a cultural exchange to stimulate the dissemination of creative ideas, research and artistic reflections on society and culture of the 21st century in a global crossroads where is passing men and women coming from all sides of the planet.
The series of events are inaugurated by
Sergio Piccoli with the exhibition
La Via del Colore, the September 3rd, 2010, from 6:00pm. He exhibit artworks borned through a chromatic research inheriting the history of Oriental colors, that Venice for first brought to Europe, influencing artists from the beginning. An example was the Tiepolo skies with its colorful traditions handed down along with a culture of great travelers.

Malipiero are invited to contact the General Archives of the artist to archive their works and get them published in the General Catalogue. The material to be sent for the archiviation is
available in the "
Services" Section. Two beautiful artworks dedicated to Marilyn are exhibited at Villa Ponti, Arona - Italy, together with artworks of Andy Warhol, Mimmo Rotella, Bert Stern, Ugo Nespolo... The artworks are published on the Catalog of the exhibition "Marilyn Monroe Arte della Bellezza".

Turi Simeti, from the 17th of July to the 12th of September 2010. The catalog is published by Christian Maretti Editore with texts by Bruno Cora and Sergio Troisi. The city do a celebratory exhibition dedicated to the most important contemporary artist who gave birth, when the international markets reward his works recognizing is membership in the historical context of the Spatialism and the Area Zero, both important movements that are growing worldwide.
