Biography

Picture Chingiz

Born in Baku on 9th of August 1964.
After his juvenile studies at the Baku High School and at the Azerbaijan State Art College, Chingiz attends the Azerbaijan State University of Arts in Baku from 1983 to 1991, graduating in the sculpture faculty.
His artistic career starts in the 1986 when he begins to work as a freelance artist. From this moment he continues to work for many projects and institutions of his country: he is freelance project curator of Baku Arts Center from 1987 to 1997, manager in the Ugur International Travel Company from 1995 to 1996.
In the 1996 founds the Arts etc... Center for Contemporary Culture in his native city, and becomes president of it.
One of the most important projects for which he has worked has been the Test Head for The Tussauds Group Studios (UK). With other artists he has to create a waxwork for new exhibitions of the Tussauds Group in New York. His works was choosen from two hundred sculptors around the world, with other two artists from his same country. This important breakthrough-point in his career permits to Chingiz to become an official sculptor for The Tussauds Group Studios from 1997 to 2000.
From the 1999 he is the director of UNEN Ltd. Company in Uk.
