Andrea Raccagni

Untitled

In my opinion one art can "assimilate", as Langer says, form from another what it finds useful to make itself clearer, and I also think that painting is the art of expressing oneself with paint on a surface. It does whether this surface is a regular form (the picture) or a free form (my painting) (...). The painting remains; it is above all things a painting.

Comment:
Is incredible like the artist Andrea Raccagni, in its long artistic production, prospect all the more current meaningful of the art that have been developed after the second world war, spacing from the abstraction to the informal one, from the surrealism to the imagery, the geometric one to the kinetic one. A lot often also anticipating the same movement, many artists then have developed topics from the face to you for first. Is the case of this work executed in the 1953, that prefigure all the pictorial search that Corpora will develop subsequently. Job this much intense and at the same time refined, sure extraordinary one considering the year in which it has been executed.
